When I became a certified wellness coach, I was so excited to finally be doing work that felt meaningful and aligned with my purpose.

After leaving a long career in digital marketing to start my own coaching practice, I found myself navigating all the parts of private practice ownership that felt far less clear than coaching itself, like how to structure the business, how to create the right offer, how to talk about my work in a way people understood, and how to build something that felt professional, sustainable, and true to who I was.

Over time, I brought together my background in marketing with my work as a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Mayo Clinic Certified Wellness Coach, and private practice owner to create a more thoughtful, aligned way for coaches to build.

That experience became the foundation for Wellness Coach Business Academy, so certified health and wellness coaches don’t have to piece it all together on their own anymore.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be certified to join Wellness Coach Business Academy?

Wellness Coach Business Academy is designed specifically for coaches who have completed a coaching certification or training program. However, you do not have to be nationally board-certified to join. We welcome health and wellness coaches across a variety of certifications and credentialing bodies.

What if I’m newly certified and haven’t started my practice yet?

That’s absolutely okay. Many coaches join WCBA right after certification because they want support building their private practice the right way from the start.

What if I already have a few clients?

You’re still in the right place. Many coaches join with a few clients already, but quickly realize they’re missing important pieces in their foundation, offer structure, messaging, or systems. WCBA helps you strengthen those areas so your practice feels more professional, clear, and sustainable.

What if I can’t attend the live calls?

You can still fully participate in the program. All coaching calls and workshops are recorded, and replays are made available within 1 business day. You can move through the program at your own pace and still submit your work for progress reviews and personalized feedback along the way.

How are the live calls scheduled?

Live group coaching calls are held every other week on Tuesdays at 12 PM CST, and the Let's Launch Practice Labs are held the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 12 PM.

How long do I have access to the program?

You’ll receive lifetime access to the program materials, so you can revisit the curriculum, tools, and training whenever you need them. You'll also receive unlimited program updates, which makes the program a perfect field guide for coaches as you grow your business and reach new milestones.

Are there any requirements to enroll in the program?

No prerequisites are required to enroll in Wellness Coach Business Academy. However, we do find coaches who have already completed a trusted and accredited coach training program are the best fit.

We do recommend that you have a laptop or desktop computer with internet access to use the program materials, join the live calls, and participate in the program.

Is this program self-paced or live?

It’s designed to give you both. You can participate live for real-time coaching, feedback, and support, or move through the curriculum at your own pace and still receive professional reviews and guidance along the way.

Are CEUs included?

Yes. Wellness Coach Business Academy is pre-approved through NBHWC for 15 CEUs. Plus, you’ll also receive access to several bonuses, which are included as part of your enrollment, giving you access to 29 CEUs through NBHWC.

Is this program right for me if I don’t want to rely on social media?

Yes. WCBA helps you build a practice that fits your strengths, values, and goals, which means you won’t be pushed into a one-size-fits-all marketing strategy that feels out of alignment.

During the program, you'll learn how to create your own WellAligned Marketing Plan, which is your path for continued growth in your practice. And because you're not forced into individual tactics, you can continue to refer back to your marketing plan as you reach new milestones and your coaching business grows.

How many people are in each cohort?

Enrollment is limited to 20 participants per cohort, so each coach has the opportunity to receive meaningful support, feedback, and attention throughout the program.

What is your refund policy?

You’ll have 7 days from the cohort start date to decide if the program is the right fit. If it’s not, simply email support within that window and your investment will be refunded in full.
